not a retrospective

It went well, no?
The lighting was a bit too ambient to do justice to some of the pieces: we were out of spotlights - it's a day-time museum. At least now we know what we need to do for the 'Closing Party' in December..

Also apologies for the water shortage, many thanks to the museum guards for sharing their supply, and to Avyi and Gregoris for bringing some more :D

One last thing before Evi and I disappear for a week or so to regain our strength:

We have no intention to let the fact that there had to be an 'opening' put an arbitrary end to the development of important ideas. This was a pact we made early on with Alkis Hadjiandreou (his idea!), who will be adding to the exhibition in September. Despo Pasia will also be making a later contribution and we have performances and different ways of activating and working with (and on) the museum planed for after the summer. We'd also love to work with Marina Yerali, and of course there's the conference / series of round-tables planned for later in the year as well.

Get in touch if you have something. We'll do our best to make it happen.

p.s. kudos to Orestis for his guerilla headwear at the opening. loved it..
